Meal Plan Consultation

Big Chef is proud to offer a free, no-obligation consultation to anyone interested in having more time to spend on personal projects or with those they love. During this consultation, Chef Janaki will discuss your personal food preferences, allergies, and any dietary restrictions you may have with you in detail. Then, based upon your needs and preferences, we will discuss the following service options as well.

Traditional Meal Service

Depending upon your individual preferences as determined at your consultation, Big Chef will design a menu to fit your needs which can be approved or adjusted at your discretion.  On the appointed cook date, Chef Janaki will arrive at your door with her own equipment and freshly purchased groceries according to your menu.  She will then prepare all of your desired entrees and sides (as well as any breads or desserts you desire) in the comfort and safety of your own home.  

With traditional service, she will then store your food carefully in your freezer and refrigerator with clear labels and instructions for your delicious enjoyment later.  When she’s done, your kitchen will be spotless and the only fingers you’ll have to lift to get a good meal whenever you like will be the ones you use to reheat your delicious, healthy food!
    

With this type of service, Big Chef can cook in volume for you and your loved ones.  Usually biweekly cook dates are best with this sort of service, although food can be prepared to cover up to a month’s worth of meals in one go---provided you have the freezer space, of course.

Fresh Meal Service

Some people may not wish to have their foods frozen at all, and this can easily be arranged with weekly fresh meal service.  It works exactly like traditional meal service except with greater frequency, and Big Chef never freezes your food.
